Covid-19 Policies

Note:  The information below is our policy for the recently-completed 2021-2022 season.  Covid protocols for the upcoming 2022-2023 season, if required, will be announced in August.  Please check back on this page for updates at that time.

The West End Players Guild Board of Directors has adopted the following policies for 2021-2022 to safeguard the health of our casts, crews, volunteers and patrons, as well as our ability to present our full season of shows.

Seating Capacity

Seating in the theatre will be in pods of 2 or 4 seats, with minimum 3’ social-distancing separation from other pods.  Seating capacity will be reduced to accommodate social distancing.  Pods will be unreserved; patrons will be seated in pods by ushers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticketing will be paperless and touchless.  Online ticket sales will be through  Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as reduced seating capacity will increase the possibility of sold-out houses and walk-up tickets may not be available at the theatre.  For the same reason, season ticket holders are encouraged to reserve space by calling the WEPG message recorder at (314) 667-5686 and giving their planned attendance date and number in their party.  Patrons who have purchased advance tickets will be on an attendance list at the box office, and will simply check in for admission.  Walk-up tickets, if available, will be sold at the box office; payment by credit or debit card is preferred, but checks and cash are also accepted.

Cast and Production Crew:  All cast and crew members are required to be fully vaccinated.

Patrons and front-of-house staff and volunteers:  West End Players Guild strongly encourages vaccination for all patrons and volunteers.  All patrons and front-of-house staff and volunteers will be masked at all times while in the building, except for when actually taking a bite of food or a sip of a drink.  Complementary masks will be available at the box office for anyone who left their mask at home, and must be worn for admission.

Food and beverages will not be sold at the theatre this season.  Patrons may bring their own quietly-consumable snacks into the theatre.  Complementary bottled water will be available to all patrons.

Thank you for your attention to and compliance with these policies.  We look forward to welcoming you to our theatre.
